After graduating in Economic Studies, David began his investment career with ten years in the investment department of ICI Pension Fund, before becoming the Managing Director and London CIO of Manufacturers Hanover Investment (now part of JPMorgan) and then taking a similar role at Nikko Capital Management. Currently he holds three non-executive director positions for FCA regulated entities and is former Chairman of a quoted business. In addition, he is the Independent Trustee for Fujitsu Technologies International Pension Fund and Chairman of the Investment Committee. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants and an Associate member of the Society of Investment Professionals.
James was born in Shropshire in 1966 and graduated in Economics from Trinity College, Cambridge. He has twenty years' experience in various types of investment research, in fund management, at a specialist research boutique and most recently in manager research for one of the world’s largest investment firms.
Rita graduated from City University with a BSc in Business Studies and has over 20 years’ experience as a fund manager having worked at some of the UK's largest asset managers, most recently at Aviva Investors. In addition to her fund management responsibilities she has held senior management positions, such as Head of European Equities and Head of Pan-European Value Investments. She also worked closely with the Corporate Governance teams. Throughout her career she has had significant industry recognition for her investment performance and wider skills, such as being named in Citywire Europe's top 100 fund managers.
Róisín began her career as a corporate finance executive for JP Mervis before moving to Insight Investment initially as a UK Equity analyst, then UK Equity manager and ultimately Head of the Pan European Equity team managing c£20bn. After moving to TRW Investment Management, as MD and CIO, where she managed the in-house pension fund (£3.5bn) via a range of bond funds and both active and passive equity funds, she was appointed CIO, AIBIM Investment Managers, Dublin. The AIBIM business comprised over £12bn of predominantly institutional assets with a broad range of balanced and specialist equity mandates. Roisin is an Economic and Social Studies graduate (with specialism in Business and Politics) from Trinity College, Dublin University.
Gary joined the investment industry after studying Economics at Trinity College Cambridge. After a career as a fund manager he moved into senior executive management for a number of asset managers. Most recently he was CEO of Insight Investment's Retail business and Group Deputy CEO.
Before moving into senior executive and consulting roles, Errol started his career as a fund-of-funds manager in 1995 and developed the investment process and philosophy of one of the largest fund of funds at that time. He has been a member of risk and investment committees reviewing portfolios and strategies and now provides turnaround and strategic consulting advice to some of the largest public and private investment management firms.
DAN moved into financial services in 1986 after an early career with GEC having studied Chemistry. He held a number of senior sales and marketing roles with both life companies and asset managers, and most recently was CEO Credit Suisse Asset Management (UK & Ireland). He is an associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
